Moon Day
Im a big fan of everything to do with the Apollo missions so when I got a brief to illustrate any national day for my Agent's upcoming Calendar I jumped at the chance to pay homage to Armstrong and the chaps...20th July 1969. One of the finest moments in the history of mankind IMHO
Im such a geek about the whole thing that I actually managed to use one of my own photos of the full moon I took through my telescope a couple of years back...Ladies form an orderly queue yeah........

The Guardian
Illustration about new British tech companies bucking the recession trend and doing the biz.. This appeared in yesterday's Guardian.... Was a tricky one as I had to plaster it with logos and add some sense of energy with a sprinkle of optimisim and still try to make it look good... hopefully not overcooked!

4D Man
A nice little commission for Campaign to illustrate the concept of 4D man...This creature has been "identified" by Bauer media as a new type of male consumer.. Essentially he is early thirties health conscious, into fitness and personal grooming etc..
The magic 4D's are "Dynamic" "Diverse" "Depth" and "Diagnostic" .. I love all this think tank stuff so had great fun assembling this image with more than a bit of a Pop art influence involved

SON of ALAN
SON of ALAN is here... my alter-ego is unleashed.. Ive revisited my old way of working and as well as business as usual with the current style, I am once again taking commissions using my old skool methods. Read the third person guff below:
Son of Alan is the logical step by step alter ego of Illustrator Lee Woogate..It is the side of him that likes to visually explain things (often with a slight twist of dry humour)...You may be reassured to know that he has worked for many clients during the past 10 years including:
//McCann Ericksson /WWav Rapp Collins /GQ /Oglvy & Mather /British Airways/Lufthansa/The Guardian/Playstation2/ Garnier/Entertainment Weekly(U.S.)/Saatchi&Saatchi /FHM (Australia U.S.) /British-Gas /Homebase /The Times /Conde Nast /TimeOut /Penthouse Magazine (U.S.) /MacUser Magazine /Mens Health (UK Brazil Russia Germany)/Pan-Macmillan /Harper Collins /The FT
He is based in the south coast town of Lewes and is represented in the UK by the good folk at Eyecandy Illustration...
